Our Commitment
Betwiga takes responsible gambling seriously. Betting should be entertaining — not a source of financial stress, relationship problems, or harm. We provide a range of tools and resources to help you stay in control of your gambling activity, and we work with external organisations to support those who need help.
If gambling stops being fun, please use our tools or contact us immediately at [email protected].
Player Safety Tools
All tools are available free of charge from your account settings or by contacting support.
Deposit Limits
Set daily, weekly, or monthly caps on how much you can deposit. Limits take effect immediately when reduced.
Loss Limits
Cap your net losses over a defined period to prevent significant financial harm.
Session Time Limits
Limit how long you can bet in a single session. Automatically logged out when your limit is reached.
Reality Checks
Regular on-screen reminders showing how long you have been playing and how much you have wagered.
Cool-Off Period
Take a short break of 24 hours to 30 days. Your account is restricted during this period.
Self-Exclusion
Temporarily exclude yourself for 1–12 months, or permanently close your account. Cannot be reversed during the exclusion period.
Account Closure
Permanently close your Betwiga account. Balances are returned after AML checks.
Wager Limits
Set a maximum stake per individual bet to manage your session exposure.
Reductions to limits take effect immediately. Increases are subject to a 24-hour cooling period.
Warning Signs of Problem Gambling
Gambling may be becoming a problem if you:
- Spend more money or time gambling than you can afford
- Chase losses — betting more to try to win back money you have lost
- Borrow money or sell possessions to fund gambling
- Neglect work, family, or personal responsibilities because of gambling
- Feel anxious, irritable, or depressed when not gambling
- Hide your gambling activity from friends or family
- Gamble to escape problems, stress, or negative emotions
- Have tried to stop or cut down gambling but found it difficult
Underage Gambling Prevention
Betwiga operates strictly for adults aged 18 and over (or the legal gambling age in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher). We take the following steps to prevent underage gambling:
- Mandatory age verification at registration
- KYC document checks before any withdrawal is processed
- Immediate account suspension if underage use is detected
- Voiding of all bets and deletion of data for confirmed underage accounts
Parents: We recommend using parental control software to prevent minors from accessing gambling websites. Tools such as GamCare, Gamban, and Net Aware can help.
Self-Exclusion
Self-exclusion is a serious tool that restricts your access to Betwiga for a set period. Once activated, it cannot be reversed during the exclusion period. At the end of the period, a mandatory cooling-off evaluation is applied before reinstatement.
| Temporary (Short) | 1 month, 3 months, 6 months |
| Temporary (Long) | 12 months |
| Permanent | Indefinite – account permanently closed |
To request self-exclusion, email [email protected] with the subject line "Self-Exclusion Request" and your account email address. We will process your request within 24 hours.
